I had just finished installing the post icon dropbox hack and read all of the requests for something similar for smilies. I don't like the "get more" function, because I have to turn off pop-up protection to make it work.

So how do you display 100+ smilies in a manageable way?

Here's the answer.

****This is personal preference - feel free to experiement *****
1. In ACP, set 'Clickable Smilies per Row' to 6
2. Set 'Clickable Smilies Total' to a ridiculously large number like 999

Edit vbcode_smilies and replace the entire contents with:

I love this mod and it works, but for some reason when you first load up the repl page, the bottom part of the scroll is not showing.

If you hit refresh it appears, but its not there at first. Any idea what could be doing this?

I have some oversized smilies and have tried to adjust the table 1000 times, does anyone have any idea of how I can fix this?

It works, I just have to hit refresh to see the smilies correctly.

Aye, I've been found out. ;) But, this isn't technically an iframe, although the results are basically the same.

Oh, and my smilies bar is cached. :)

Ok i hope you dont mind but I took the liberty of making this more conforming to vbulletin, you had your own colours for it which dont look good on all boards, so I modified it for vbulletin usage, using the boards alternating colors instead of your hex values :)

I also fixed the smiley table going to the left

Any solution on the static part, I still have often that the iframe shows up only a part and sometimes it shows up normal as it should be.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Basically when making a new thread, at the top you have a table with icons you can choose to appear next too your thread title. The post icon dropbox hack basically puts all of those icons into one simple drop down box.
