Current Hacks/Skins/Mods & vB 3
 

Does anyone have the information on whether or not current hacks/skins/mods from here can be applied to vB version 3?

I'm just trying to decide on whether to purchase v2 or v3. I'm leaning towards v2 if support will still be available from this site. I see no details on vbulletin.com about vB 3 and hack support (I don't see any details on general features either).

If all of these great hacks/skins/mods cannot be applied to v3, how long must v3 customers wait or will they even be an option?

Upgrades from vBulletin 2.x.x will have free upgrades to vBulletin 3. Also you can start skining it as soon as you get in your grubby little hands. Hacks from other people most likely will start flowing in a few days after its release.

As for hacks, because they're all produced by individuals, it's up to the author to decide if or when (s)he wants to update hacks for vB3. I for one will be waiting until the first revision (3.0.1) bare minimum.

Nobody by that name works for Jelsoft. Sorry but it sounds like you got burned. Try filing a fraud complaint with PayPal.

GHOSTFACE98, there doesn't seem to be anyone called smartmice registered at vbulletin.com. I just checked the members listing. Do you still have the pm he sent you? If he sent you a pm his real registered name will be in there. That's where I would start at.

Posting hacks from here onto another web site without the author's permission is copyright infringement, which makes it illegal.

Like filburt said, try filing a fraud complaint with PayPal. They should be able to do something. At least they can track this guy down. And forward the pm you got to someone at Jelsoft (or someone at vbulletin.com). If he sent you a pm, he has to be registered there.

PayPal will definitely reverse the charge if you tell them you were a victim of fraud. I see reversals done all the time. Then you can take the money and purchase a real license from the legitimate source:
