how do I get people to register and post. My presales section and my support question section is getting some posts.. but my topic areas are a ghost town.. Help me out here with advice please :)

That is because of our grand opening special, double disk space and transfer.. the plans on the right nav of the main page reflects what you get with the free upgrade.
