Little Help
1 Attachment(s)
Please upload the attached file to your admin directory, run it, and then paste the output here (especially if the output it gives is contradictory to what you know your host supports).
For the nervous ones, it's a script that analyzes PHP's and vB's configuration to see if you can support an upcoming project of mine. edit: It should look similar to this: Code:
PHP version passed (4.3.1). |
Code:
Error: Your version of PHP is too old (4.1.2). |
As expected because it's checking for PHP 4.2.0 or later.
(you should really upgrade, too) |
Code:
PHP version passed (4.2.3). [high]* Dan grumbles at his host[/high] |
Hehe ;))
I'll give a mail to my serverroot :) |

Glad to help though. |
PHP version passed (4.2.2).
MySQL version passed (3.23.56). imap extension passed. MySQL connection passed. MySQL database selection passed. vBulletin version passed (2.3.0). MySQL CREATE rights passed (temporary table: "temptable13394531"). MySQL ALTER rights passed. Congradulations! You appear to support most of the requirements for the vBulletin Mail System. (you spelled congratulations wrong though ;) ) |
Anybody else?
And thanks, mom ;) |

Doh. I forgot about that problem. PhpInfo is reporting the wrong version of mysql as well. It has to do with how I had to upgrade things on ensim. But, mysql 4 is really being used and it really does make a difference in performance :)
