Yea, he tried emailing me 3 times too. I ignored the first two, then finally replied and asked if I could see his site after the third one. He replied saying he didn't have a licensed copy of vB and was just wanting to run it on his box at home. Afterwards I let Erwin know about the emails. :)

Yep, I tried that. That's when he emailed me back saying he was trying it on his local machine. I didn't think he'd actually tell me if it was a live site, but it was worth a try. :)

if you disable show email to unlicensed users in your profile those users can't email you :)

Ive had that option on for some time now and its never stoped unlicensed users from emailing me, even this person sent me a email while it was on. :confused:

well if you advertise your forum in your sig or profile they will get hold of you eventually. :)

right, i didn't get such emails here, and i just checked the code its working ;)

It was a message sent via vB.org (in other words via the mailform in my profile)


Xenon, mabey you changed something in the code after I set it to yes the frist time? (been awhile)

edit: Would my status changing to unlincensed affect it?, My leased lincensed ran out a few weeks ago and I was coming up as unlincensed until I bought my new owned one.
