Because it does. Also that fixed background is unprofessional and killing scrolling performance. Finally it's just too graphical and cluttered; it's hard to tell where anything is.

Looks alright. Kill the background. Maybe remove some other graphics. It's a bit cluttered.

That's because it's done by a designer on the same team as Corey ;)

Looks great IMO but no matter what you do if you do a design like this with modern fonts etc it's going to be compared to yaxay :)

Personally i think it's overloaded with graphics and in some places could have been coded better to increase load time which basically means a no no for 56k users :(

I got blasted at vBT for comparing it to yaxay so I won't but I just think it's a bit too image orientated which makes it slow loading. Probably just the header, has alot of images.

But it looks nice. :)

Well don't be afraid to share your feelings Tony ;) If you think it looks like yaxay then say so ;)

the problem is that it doesn't 'look' like yaxay. People just tend to put everything in the same category. Meaning, if you put graphics on your forum all of a sudden, 'hey, you look like yaxay'. If you leave it default then you're fine.

Positively shows how many images one can slam on a single layout. But I do agree, tis a very nice style.

I think it's outstanding and looks better than yaxay.

It's alot more then just graphics, I guess what gave me the impression was the 'layout' of the graphics is very similar. I'm not saying it did look like yaxay (Well, I did at vBT), but it could easily give somebody the impression that it is and I'm sure you don't want that.

It looks nothing like yaXay. It wasn't made by Corey aka c-pr0mpt. Corey doesn't own rights to use oranges, blues or whatever else.

It's total crap that every forum design gets compared with yaXay.

That's another stereotype saying how "every" forum is like it. Of the ones I review, at most 10% remind me of it, mostly because of that stupid, unprofessional, unreadable, ugly, amateur pixel font.

Personally I really like those forums. The colors are bright and lively, and the graphics, postbit, etc are very nice. Good job to you who or ever coded it (or good job to you for buying such an excellent design) :)
