First time I just used Buy It Now because the price was good. Had to snipe though. Sad but true; had to bid in the last 10 seconds of the auction to win, and even then only beat a previous sniper by $1. :eek:

Will do. I also got it because (1) it's just fun to take pictures of junk and I don't have a webcam, and (2) I don't have anywhere near a recent picture of me; the one I have, albeit only a year old, makes me look really young.

I am a photography buff myself. :D I have taken serveral thousand pictures with my digital camera. :)

I'm more into digital video. I would have saved up to buy a Mini DV/Digital8 camcorder but they're only barely below retail price even on eBay (very hotly contested). This seemed like a steal because it retails for over $100 (granted this is used but I don't care). :)

Seriously. I was surprised that there were so few bids...I'm assuming just the opening bid was so high (they're usually just $1). I read the description at least 5 times because I thought something was too good to be true.

But we'll find out in a few days, now won't we ;)

I got sniped last night on an iBook I've been watching for a few days. I found someone selling one on Macfora this morning, though, and bought it for less than the auction went with better specs on it, so I was lucky after all.

I did a snipe the other night on a domain + website design, etc.

I knew I was the lead bidder (I'm guessing -- they set it to a private auction), but about 20 seconds before the end, I put in another bid... just to be safe :)

Got it all for only $5.50 ;)

Should be here by tomorrow (it's coming from Ohio, so 2 days via FedEx ground). Seller took a day or two to ship it and e-mail me the tracking number, though, was getting scared :eek: .
