InvisionBoard to vBulletin
I've seen that I can't access to Invision Board Importer if I am not a licensed user of vBulletin, it is logical, but it's logical too that I don't want to buy a license without knowing if the conversion works fine or no.
I want change my forum engine to vBulletin, but if I can't import my database from InvisionBoard to vBulletin I can't change the forums (They have a lot of user and traffic). |
i heard of no problems with the importer, so you can assume it works

I personally know someone who got the convertor to work for him so that's a thumbs up :)
|
So at this time there IS a converter available to go from Invision to vB?
As in, right now I'm running Invision 1.1.2, if I purchased a vB license I'd be able to upgrade to it? If so, how difficult is it to do this? What does it involve? Is there anyone I can speak to that has made this move? Thanks so much for your help... |
There is a converter, yes.
it shouldn't be very difficult to run it, but if you need more info sales@vbulletin.com or the vbulletin.com board would be able to help you i'm sure |
Xenon: I thought the invission importer was unoffical?, did jelsoft release a offical one while I was away?
|
hmm, maybe i thought of another converter then...
hmm, sorry :) |

i remember now, the converter was from pogo (Team of vbulletin-germany.com) and i thought it was official ;)
|
just read this, well my second admin does all the paying so i will have to type him a mail tonite with all the explanations :)
|
The invision converter from Pogo has not officially been released yet. There were some beta testers and that's all. I was one and I ran it with no problems, but Pogo has stated there is a bug with really old PMs so he's held off releasing it until it is perfect.
|
but the problem is that my second admin has the customer number and pass but he is not online [i live in singapore and he in the us] so i cant phone him either! :(
Is there no way I can get the converter now? |
write him a mail, we live in a multimedial time, so just write him a mail to tell him what he has to do...
|
where to find the importer ? Can anyone help me. I have IBF1.2 forum, now I want to convert to VB3, but I don't know how :(
|
I also would love to know where to get this converter.
I don't care much about losing PMs... |

hi,
i have the same question as the other: Is there any program to convert all the members and forums from IPB 2.0 PF2 to vBulletin, if it's so, then i will purchase the vBulletin license. |

You can email sales@vbulletin.com to ask about PF2, i am not sure about what changes if any have been made. |
