How Long Ago? Timestamp Hack

How Long Ago? Timestamp Hack

I saw this on vB3 at one point. I think that it may have been changed since (unless there's an option to switch it on and off). What it basically does is change your time stamps throughout your whole site to, for example, 7 days ago or 35 minutes ago or 10 hours ago. It approximates on older stamps, but I figure that exact times become less and less relevant anyway as the date and time are farther and farther in the past.

Attachment removed. Too many problems.

Nice. Thats a good idea. It could be better if like, if it was today, or yesterday, it would say. And if it was more then that, it would say for example: '3 days ago' blah..

are the instructions the same if u have the yesterday today timestamp hack ?

corsacrazy 04-06-2003 09:23 AM

the hack interferes with the last activity alt tag in the "whos online 2day hack " and it also screws up the todays birthdays on forum home thingy ! and $post[time] isnt used any more is that correct ? only $post[date] is used
