Nice work DutchMate :D
|
Thx 4 helping m8!
|
Can you set up 2 different messages? One for the Mods and one for the Admin? It would be nice in case you want to let an Admin know something that doesn't necessarily pertain to the Mods and vice-versa. One for Supermods would be good, too. ;)
|
Yes if you read the readme file you would know that already :)
As I said its a great hack and very useful |
Ouch! ;)
|
lol
anyway nice hack, but i wont really use it as i have a staff forum and thats wat its there for right ;p |

It seperates Admin & (super)mod. Maybe in the next version you will be able to set messages for supermods. First look if people are interreseted in these things. |

In the request forum oricon said: "can someone make a news hack for admin/modCP, because my mods ain't read the staff forum well" |

I looked at the code. Is there a way to make an editor like for messages for this instead of editing templates? ;) |
Well, the admins are the only one to edit them...so I actually don;t see why you want an editor.... It doesn't take that much time =]

I noticed something. ModCP is only accesable for supermods!! So no modification needed! |

Well in that case i will add a link for the admin:
if ($bbuser[id] == '1') { echo Go |url| here to edit Admin News echo Go |url| here to edit Mod news } Is that what you mean ?> |
Sorry, that's not what I meant. I meant an editor something like the newreply. ;)
|
Ahh,...with a couple of html codes etc?!
|
Yes, something like that. An editor like the newreply that we are all familiar with. That wat we can add html, vbcode, smiles and all of the stuff since it is for the admins and supermods only. ;)
And if you can come up with something like that, I have another hack idea for you when this is done. ;) |
Ok, Add all your idea's here, im going to play some darts & Pingpong =]
|
That's my only idea for this hack, the editor. ;)

Statuz: Adding a template edittor.
|
Nice hack :)
|
The news editor will take some longer than expected.
Becuase i first want to know how i have to make such thing =] Till then, use the normal template editor! GL |
That's ok. Just let me know if you ever get it figured out. ;)
|
Maybe it's possible I use the Advance Template editor hack [added yesterday]... ;)
