Forum Post Problem...
Yeah, when I look at a thread, in one of my Forums, I see that it says that is has 1 reply, but when I go inside, its got 8. What have I done wrong, how can I fix it?
You'll have to be a lot more specific (version of vB and PHP, link to thread, etc.).

That's a link to my General Forums... The thread is, "is anyone else having problems" my marioman. Says 1 post, has about 8. |
Try updating your thread counters.
Yeah! Works.
Thanks man. I appreciate your help. |
Well, it seems that now I gotta do it EVERY TIME I want the Forum to be updated. Is there a way it'll do automatically right after someone posts?
Upgrade to 2.3.0 and get rid of hacks.
Get rid of hacks? What's that supposed to mean? Like, eliminate the Store and Arcade hacks?! Those are like, the lifeline of my boards! Isn't there any other way?
Often badly written hacks (and my god, one of thse is) screw around with parts of vB and break it.
It worked fine a while ago... Ever since I tried to delete the arcade records, it's been acting up. How the hell would I remove hacks, though? I'd have to restore everything back!
There really isn't any other way? |
Stock vB 2.3.0 doesn't do this. Therefore changes to the code did. Undo the changes, the problem will be fixed.
Wha?
I feel pretty stupid. You're telling me I should update to vB 2.3.0, and it'll override all the problems I have? |
