Forums ID Display Hack

This hack will add the forum id number to the right of the forum title in the forums modify listing. This is a hack mainly for new owners of vbulletin who might not be familiar with the forums and the id numbers that are assigned to them. It can also be used for a "quick glance" of the forum ids for seasoned veterans. ;)

(Version 1.1)
You can now add the forumid number next to the forum title on the forumhome and forumdisplay. It will also link to edit that forum individually (for Admins only).

Tested and working on vBulletin 2.2.9
Files to modify: 3 (admin/forum.php, root/index.php,root/forumdisply.php)
Templates to modify: 8 (forumhome_forumbit_level1_post, forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost,
forumhome_forumbit_level2_nopost, forumhome_forumbit_level2_post,
forumdisplay_forumbit_level1_post,forumdisplay_for umbit_level1_nopost,
forumdisplay_forumbit_level2_nopost,forumdisplay_f orumbit_level2_post)
Total time of installation: 7 minutes (if you're slow)

Great play on words there. I did the licks for you and Anime-loo, by the way. I know how you 2 are with the install button. ;)

I will install this hack, because I am lazy. It takes time to hover over links (hence my usergroup ID hack similar to this!) so this will save me the time :p

The code changes are only in admin/forum.php so how could it affect others?

Since it is in the Admin CP, I would think so but I never did a check for it like that. The key words are "ADMIN CP". ;)

I was going to say... you can always make a template edit in phpinclude and forumhome so that the ID numbers show up on forumhome just for admins. :)

Yeh...I, for some reason, misread it, and thought it was for the forumhome...Lol...

Let me know how to do that and I will add it to the file. I'm not very good with the phpinclude template yet. I'm hoping to learn from "the big filburt". ;)

Just a note to everyone. After talking it over with Erwin, we decided it would be harder than he initially thought it would be to add it to the phpinclude template. That is why I decided to go the php files (index.php and forumdisplay.php) route. If I can find a better way to do it via the phpinclude, I will let everyone know and update the hack. Otherwise, enjoy! ;)
