vB And Spaces
When you edit a post and add spaces, they don't show up.
I've tested this on my board and this board, does anyone know why? |
its a standart formating issue in html
use the [code] tag to also show spaces |
I posted a football (soccer) result at my forums and now I can't lay it out properly because the spaces are not showing up.
|
as said youse code tags for it:
Code:
hello |
Ok, thanks :)
I didn't realise this before, that the spaces don't show up unless in code tags. By the way, why was my original post edited? |
There is a hack out that will allow you to add spaces inside posts. Check my profile here. ;)
|
Can't you just make a vbcode for it?
vbCode tag: space vB Code replacement: vB Code example: [space][/space] vB Code explanation: Allows you to put spaces in your posts Use {option} ?: No Done :) - miSt |
@mist: afaik it's a html thing, so you should enter the correct replacements ;)
but then i think it's possible @boofo: oh didn't realise it *shame* @Joe: nothing was really edited, i just tested what you said *gg* |
Mist - you will get an underscore where the space should be unless you comment out the code for it in the php file. It is in the hack.
Xenon - That's ok, it is really a small hack, easy to miss, but very useful at times. :) |
Boofo - i just tested it on my local board and it works perfectly

Indeed your way is far better. But this doesn't require hacking :)

This is one more time hacking would be a way better way to go. Your way would be way too cumbersome and way too much trouble for something so simple.
