vB Cam portal
 

what i'm after really is cam portal software built into vB so it looks like the forums etc, i think it would bring something new and exciting to forums and would enable a whole new form of interactivity.

bascially what i'd like is;

+ a page with a list (maybe with picture and buy-line) of the cam's in the portal and whether they are active or not
+ a link from the postbit
+ a link in profile
+ each cam gets it's own page, with lets say the info in the user profile on and maybe a link to their vB journal
+ users just need to click activate
+ cam's must be authorised
+ users to be able to leave comments on others users cam page
+ and have the cam with the most views displayed at the top like a league ladder almost

@ Sabret, i have made my own one and planing to release it tomorrow.
Ill have it installed yesterday on my liveboard and betatest it right now. :)

apparently bane www.talkloud.net is set to release one after the next release of vbStats, altho i hear theirs a chance it'll be a paid hack :)

i think that guy mite cry if someone else asks him, is the idea of a cam portal dead? cos i am gagging for one and im just a designer :disappointed:

I want to be able to have webcam conferences via the forum...

Has anyone found a mod that might allow this?

I guess, ultimatley, it would be awesome for people to be able to communicate with voice and video cam comms from within the forum, either in a seperate and defined forum or via the addon chat add on.

Any ideas?
