:banana: hi I'm looking at VBoard very hard. but the cost. so here it is how is the support and how fast. also when you buy the new board. do you get any hack to install ? also do you help. with install hack if needs.?also when you but the board. how long does it take to get it. and are you a member right away....

im not sure about how fast you get it, but im pretty sure it's just a name/pass in an email then you access the members area and d/l

you don't get any hacks to install

people here offer almost all the help you could want when they release a hack so you can install it error free

the support is great, with so many people you get a lot of information fast

oh and the features are well worth the cost :D

I think the official support in excellent, but I'm a bit biased. I can tell you that the last 30 official support tickets were answered within 27 minutes.

Also if you order with a credit card you almost always get your customer info within minutes and can begin downloading and installing the software immediately after that.

so what your saying here that you do not get any hacks Right. why do i see then for download

one more thing. i have seem the board post to download for free.

sorry i read your post wrong, theres hundreds at the least of hacks here, some small some huge, but there are lot's of hacks here to download and some add a whole new addition to your board

and wherever you see it free is illegal, it's warez, better to buy it so you can get hacks and help

Where are the noards with the hacks. so i can see what they have. if i like then. i will be a member for sure

this is the board with hacks, but you can't actually view the hacks unless you licensed, i think you can only view the titles of the threads

you cant see then work on the board>

oh well just another board.... i would thought this board would have all the hack set up. so ever one can see then. why pay 160.00 for what you cant see that works later

This board HAS a lot of hacks set up.

Mind you, a lot of hacks here in vB 2 is already present in the beta version of vB 3 which is running at vbulletin.com - check it out.

Some people do give links to a working board in their post.
I believe someone should code a hack where non-licensed members can view image attachments only and no other.
There are lots of hacks on this board, but you cannot download them OR download the instructions to install them until you are licensed at vBulletin.com. That will give you access to these hacks.
However, you must purchase a license first.
Here's a list of the popular hacks in store for you when and if you decide to purchase the vBulletin software:

• Lesane's Store Hack - This is a hack which gives users pretend money when they post messages. They can be donated pretend money also. There are actions you can spend your pretend money on such as changing your username, buying an italic glow on your username, etc. This hack is so popular there have been extra hacks released that are integrated with this hack, for example: itemshop, staff discounts, lottery, etc.
• g-force2k2's warnings hack - This is a good hack for keeping your members to stick to specific rules. You can set how many warning "points" before they are banned. You can have different warning degrees such as 'spamming gives the user 10 points', and '10 points is the limit before they are banned', so if you warn them for spamming, they get banned. You can also add your own reasons for warning in the Admin CP and the degree of the warning.
• FireFly's Quick Reply Box - This is a reply editbox (at the bottom of the page of a thread) which lets you reply using the box instead of clicking the 'reply' button. Very handy hack for those lazy-type members :p. It doesn't show up to members in a closed thread, but it still shows up for mods/admins.
• Bane's vBulletin Stats - This is a stats page which shows statistics about your forum such as referrals, how many registered members there are, browser types, operating systems, server statistics, etc. Handy for statistical purposes :).
• futureal's vBpro arcade (BETA) - Although still in Beta mode, it allows users to play games using flash. The games include Tetris, Pacman, Snake, Breakout and Space Invaders.
• Many many more...

So apart from graceful support, you're getting plenty of hacks to make your board popular and good-looking :).

:rolleyes: Does any one has a forums. with some hacks so i can just look at then please any one.. i dont want then i want to see how they work. if the ones i see. i will buy the message board. but why buy when you cant see how things work. there should be a test forum so people can see then and test then there on the board :smoke:

Just click on the homepage of the members here who contribute hacks - most of them have forums that are pretty much hacked up.
