You should never post the actual code, unlicensed users can grab it this way, since they have access to read the threads.
Plus it makes it hard to read the thread.

A .txt file (or .zip) is is the way to go...

I do want unlicensed users to see the code. Its public release, not private.

theres only 1-3 queries being generated, theres no other way to make it less then it is.

Depends what you want to use and how, I could just cache them, but I'm too lazy to make up the code.

Also unfinished, there are few bugs here and there, but it dose work as it should...

I was going to fix the bugs+ add new/old icon and maybe dont set any limit, just spread it over pages, like page 1, page 2, and so on...

Maybe even add activity bars or something, :)

Nice hack nano - it's his choice if he wants to make this hack a public release or not thought guys :)

However this is an official vbulletin site and chen has chosen to make hacks unavailable for unlicensed users for a reason so perhaps you should put it in a .txt file out of courtesy ;)

NanoEntity why did you use vB.org images instead of using {firstaltcolor} etc. ?

I had to edit both templates before it was good fitting to my style

Correct, I would suggest you put it in txt, and then renaming the file to name.txt.php so the code does not get parsed.

Parsed code is bleh, and it takes awhile to change it to our boards colors.

also the little clip with Mystic Gohan Sonic and RaKEeM is my forum I would like to know what is different from mine to this release? Because you told me not to release it or give it to anyone. So hmm I confused. I see that I dont have the hl_statistics.php file but that is about all I think.

o okies I have a version where I dont need to modify a php file to mess with most of the settings

url? so I can see, try DLing the .php file, it has all vars there.

I found that the colors were a little backwards on my 2.2.9 forum - not sure if the version made the difference. It seemed that tableheadbgcolor was used where categorybackcolor should have been used and the other way around. (e.g. with a standard color scheme you see darker purple at the top with larger yellow text, and lighter purple inside with smaller white text)

I reversed them as seen here

It is because since Nano pasted the code directory o the vB.org forums, the bbs parsed all the replacements to use the vB.org colors

Actually that is what caught me the first time, so the next time I snagged it out of the attachment.. that time it didn't stick the colors from this forum, but they were still backwards...

For example, the code in hl_statistics starts out using tableheadbgcolor, but should actually start with categorybackcolor etc.

The way I cut and pasted it out of the top10.status+full.php file, it seemed wrong.. at least with my version and color scheme.

Still, a nice bit of code...

Yeah, just mess with the colors until you get it right for your board.

Is there a way to increase the length of the Reply Thread? There is more room to the right of the threads listed and as of now, it is abbreviated.

because its such an intergral part of my site
i won't be moving up without it :p

there is one bad thing with this hack.. and thats is that user can see topic from areas ..where they not have access..

exp.. they can see topic from my admin forum(where admins/mods talking private) and thats not good..
is there any solutions to this problem..

by the way.. very nice hack,.. if i get a solution on this.. i will install

It's been a awhile since I installed this hack but ... there's a place in the instructions to exclude.

I think it may be in the mods to the index.php.

I installed it and excluded the forums I didn't want listed.
