Ebay in Postbit and Profile with direct Link to members auctions

Hello Guys! :smoke:

Well, what does this little modification do?

If your Users have Ebay-Accounts, they can go to "Edit Profile" and write there Names there.
The Names are displayed in there User-Profiles and also in the Postbit with a direct Link to there current auctions.
This is the basic Idea.

++ Addon ++

With the little Addon you can participate by every click on the users auctions.

Note: Only if your have a Advertising - Partnership with Ebay.

Yes, that looks good! ;)
In Germany we have Sites like www.affili.net where you can setup partner-accounts. You can look for something to that should be easy. :)

Was thinking though. How to make this linkable in the profile page? An IF statement wherever the $customfields variable is?

Close, but no cigar. The ID needs to be [field7] or the link does not recognize the user. If I simply put 7 in place of the ID the link doesn't recognize the username.

If I put [field7] I get parse errors.

I just had an idea with this Kars. What about adding a bit so that everyone who does NOT enter their Ebay name (or who just doesn't have one), the ebay-profilefield automatically posts your default link such as: "Join Ebay" or something like that.

That way it will encourage members to sign up and you get a the most $ if an ebay member signs up.

I added the feature into the profile field but for some reason it pulls up on ebay.de . Is there any way to get ebay.com ?

I tried it, it adds the eBay: in the profile in the post.
However, the filed for a user to put their personal ID in is not.

Please help.

i got it working so, it only shows the field if the field is entered by the user...
