2.2.9 ... is almost here...
 

Look at bottom of vB.com - they are now running 2.2.9 - the Release Candidate should be out any day now. :) Time to fire up your file comparison programs again...

there were some security holes that weren't mentioned, so I suggest you upgrade.

I will try to find how they patched any holes and do it manually, but no way in hell I am upgrading :p ... way too much work

Good job I've worked out how to use Agraxis, I'll be upgrading 2 boards when the final is out.

How do you upgrade to a newer version, when you have a bunch of hacks installed?

You should know, your homepage is http://www.vbulletin.com/ :p

You do a diff on the files using the tool of your choice, or you overwrite the files and reapply the hacks.

Think it's a case of reapplying hacks by and large. Thanks for the headsup Erwin, just about to release a new board and will jump all over 2.2.9 ... and install the 10 hacks will currently enjoy :rolleyes:
