Where I work at provide me nearly 500 mbps, corporate use some kind of laser that attach on top of building for internet.

But at home, its 2 to 8 mbps cuz of local where I live near corporate. It ll be nice to have 50 or even 500 mbps =D

512KB/s right now, that does the job most of the time I may upgrade the connection though.

Which ISP are you with? NTL are doing 1mb upgrade for ?35/pm. CHEAP:)

Should be national, its provided by Telewest, I know its not avalible in all areas though :)

Tiscali's webmail on the other hand, well that left me there laughing for hours when my friend was trying to use it. It has 3 frames a header, side menu and content and the content loads yet another header and menu in it *lol*

Ive spent 4 years trying to get cable or DSL. EVERY house but mine on this road is hooked up and time warner wants me to pay $600 for them to run in the lines. Im close to going out and hooking myself up ;) ;).

I know how you feel...BT wont run the Broadband lines to our Telephone Connection Box (which controls our village and the village next to us), until at least 200 of the approx 4,000 users want broadband...

Currently, 65 (including us), have signed to say we want it...

I am able to get NTL or BT in my area :p

When I move house we might upgrade to the 1MB ntl service from the 600kb one now because when you're moving house you spend so much money that upgrading a tiny internet connection is nothing ;)

They also don't know how to use Permissions in vB, as a member was able to access the staff forums there and view abuse made by the mods had posted about him :D
