Windows 2003? Msn BroadBand 8? MSN Software 8? MSN 8?
I love microsoft :) We may not all admit it, but they have made millions of peoples lives much easier. I really think Microsoft has some stuff up their sleeves. Stuff like:
? MSN BroadBand service 8 (Cheap, fast, sweet support, and utilities) ? Windows Server 2003 (Potential, I pre-registered for RC1 CD it :)) ? MSN Messenger 5 (The ever so popular messenger service, is coming back with a new kick ass look, and some new sweet features) ? MSN Software 8 (Very useful products for our every day lives) ? MSN 8 (Has been launched, this is the version 8 of there site, new look, new things to come, I have seen incredible speed change in loading, they are currently modifying the chat and communities too) ? TabletPC(One sweet product, runs with WinXP, and Office XP, has new JournalXP, can connect to wireless network) As you can see many new stuff are planned from Microsoft, and I think we will be hearing about Microsoft for a very very long time. MS Pride!!:D -Arunan |
You are one of the very few people I know who praises Microsoft for more accomplishments then their faults. :p
Ofcourse I have to agree with you on some of them. As many people dislike Windows XP, I enjoy very much Windows XP Professional and think it's incredibly stable and more reliable then any previous versions (since I rarely crash these days). ....well, that's the only accomplishment I can think that I enjoy from Microsoft :D I like hotmail personally, have been using the MSN-feature thing for years, although I don't use it as much anymore since I got my own domain with emails. |
2000 is more stable in my experience than XP. I like OS X 10.2 over all Windows OSes, it has similar features in most respects but never crashes the whole OS and is extremely simple to use, unlike the visual clutter provided by XP.

If i had the money id buy a mac, sadly i dont so windows and linux are all i run right now. I really think apple sould release a verson of OS X that will run on PC's. They would get alot of money out of it IMO.
|
*gasp* there are Mac users on this forum.... @_@
[high]* Velocd starts to become paranoid and runs away screaming [/high] Just kidding, but I'm defiantly not much of a Mac user. Those commercials annoyed me as well. ;) That gives me an idea for a new topic.. |
I praise Microsoft, but some things they have done, like releasing Windows ME, were the biggest mistakes they ever made...
I agree that Win 2000 is MUCH more stable than Windows XP... My Internet Explorer crashes almost every time I use the machine with Windows ME, and every other time with my Laptop (which uses XP Professional) Satan |
You might not like it but i know millions of people enjoy microsoft products, I myself havn't had any problems with XP, or MS products ever, nothing crashes all workes fine, I started off with a mac, then when I got to PC it made my life alot easier, and then with Windows 2000 Pro and XP I love my comp. I use XP know and as I said its super stable, I don't kno what you guys do to make it crash, you might have like ++++ty ram, and like your prog crashes, and all of a sudden you start crying and blaming it on Microsoft. There products are really nice.
I can assure you that you can expect great things from them. The TabletPC will be a hit in the Business field, new MSN8 has amazing features, maybe you guys should stop and actually take there flash tours, thats why they have it. Its overall a pretty good company, just because the guy who is like the "head figure" is friggin rich ass, doesn't mean you gotta be jealous :) -Arunan |
Im not jealous;)

IMO Windows 2000 is so unstable, I'd rather use NT4, upgrading my machine to 2000 from NT4 wasn't cleaver, NT4 was on a year, not one reinstall, 2000 must have had a weekly reinstall. XP and .NET however are extreamly stable or at least have been for me. |
Of course you do Arunan - Were brothers...Remember?:)
Im downloading MSN 5.0 so I can slate it;) Satan |
