New style set
Current default: http://www.webdesignforums.net/index.php?s=&styleid=1
What I'm playing with: http://www.webdesignforums.net/index.php?s=&styleid=3 Likey? |
I likey the new style. :) Very blue.
NOW IT HAS TEH SHADOWS AND TEH CUSTOMIZEDEDED ON/OFF ICON!S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
Anyway, do you like the shadows? It makes the overall page 50 px narrower for content in order to still make it fix in 800x600 without horizontal scrolling. |
Looks very professional and stylish, with easy to read fonts.
Good job filburt ;) |
Very nice.
damn smoothie now YOU have a nice board...
Looks very clean and professional!!
5/5 :) |
You have no idea how hard those shadows are :paranoid:
Just put in the Web Design Tools, look at that DHTML niceness when you expand/contract it :D
I like the one your playing with (the non-100% width one) Very impressive and professional looking. Well done :)
Very sleek:)

Just updated (that is, overhauled) the postbit for the new style set. :)
...and also added a hackless award system to the postbit...:)
Very nice. The shadows are a nice touch - they must have been a PITA to do!
You have no idea...
the postbit is a little too confusing for me
love it!
i've got to say that this is probibly one of my most favourite vB forums of all, the design is great, the hacks added are very good and the community is very friendly and helpful with questions, with their help, i might actually get used to this php stuff
There are no hacks, everything's done with templates, albeit profusely with phpinclude ;)
I have shadows on my main site page so I can relate. Pain in the ass! haha
Looks really nice. Release it! :P |
I recently added the analog clock which I wrote myself (you wouldn't believe how complicated it is to simply draw lines representing a clock, like 200 lines of code or thereabouts) and tweaked the welcome panel. Also redid the forumhome_forumbit_leveln_post templates.
I have more stuff in store albeit I'm running out of ideas but I can't implement anything else until January 2003 because I'm in the running for vB BOTM and changing your style is against the rules: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...threadid=60081 |
You should release the clock as a hack, or template mod. :)
I did but it's sitting in vBT's thread storage area since us mods had a debate as to whether a PHP file can be used in a template mod.
I PMed/e-mailed SD a few times about moving it back (I only have permission to move stuff to that forum not out) but I haven't heard back :( |
Wow WDF is gettin better by the day filburt
Well done! - miSt |
Thanks :)
