I just want to know in general of how how many queries I have compares to others!

I want to know your query count for the following files:

Only 18 on forumdisplay and showthread? :-O how did you manage that?!

He probably didnt install a large amount of hacks, and/or optimised the code he uses:)

But he has so many hacks installed, and still manages to have less queries than a stock vB...that's amazing...

i need to optimize my code a bit, showthread and forumdisplay are way higher then i want them, o and i took my index.php down from 35 this morning :)

so, how does one see how many queries they have? Not that I don't know how... Some guy asked me to ask for him. Yeah, that's it. :rolleyes:

TECK, do you have any points on how to optimize the default code?, ive already tied all my pm querys into one and always add my new templates to the correct files, however my querys are way higher then i would like them to be.

For those who have seen my site, it's not too bad considering that my forum has over 150 hacks and is quite modified. TECK would know... :)

I took out how many unread PMs there are, and the inbox total, I would like these to be shown but that adds two queries, how can I optimize that?

I have three styles, two of which generate about the same amount of queries, and one which is my "lite browser" style which generates less queries because It has less hacks installed.

1 & 2 style:

Just about all my pages generate under .25 seconds as well usually (for me at least).

My biggest issue is that showthread.php, I can't seem to figure out where the queries are coming from (when trying to simplify it)

Velocd: trun on debug mode and look at the queries from there :)

Just curious, but why? I haven't messed with debug mode too much..

I'm not sure what the debug mode does to your board:confused:

Debug allows you to use the query and explain variables, so you can look at db queries in detail to debug errors. When you have debug on though, your site is susceptible to hacking and is a security risk.
