Welcome panel - template v1.0
My First hack.
This hack lets you put your Welcome panel code in a separate template and call it with the command $welcomepanel only install this hack if you have installed Welcome Panel Extremeby ffdcsite from vbwebtemplates.com Or another Welcome panel This hack is not for someone that don't know there way around the templates so if you don't 'DO NOT INSTALL THIS HACK" For everyone else have fun and I hope this is useful. This hack made it a lot easier for me to add options etc... |
Well..umm...heh, not much to say about this chad. It's incredibly simple, but as always this is how you learn, and become better. So it's a good start, and I'm sure somebody else can find it useful as well.

:) yeah it is kind of simple, but i know I wouldn't know how to do this unless I played around with stuff for awhile :)
SO I hope it does help someone help or may be useful for someone :) anyways I was kinda proud of myself for figuring out how to do it since I am not rreally a guy that codes a lot :) |

Wow, I'm surprised no one did this before, I didn't even think to put it into it's own template. But very simple yet useful hack, makes my forumhome template more organized. Thanks!

I just noticed something, you forgot to mention the addition of the template in index.php. You need to add ,forumhome_welcomepanel at the top of index.php, in the $templatesused variable. I believe that saves a query to the db.
