3 Warnings, Your out
 

I'm simply looking for a hack for 2.2.6 that Moderators, Supermods, and Admins can warn a user anytime they get out of hand. Mainly what it does is right under all the other Postbit info if your a mod + it will say Warn User. A Mod then is taken to a screen where it logs the Mod's name in as well as the users name in. However a mod can only warn someone inside his forum. If a person gets 3 warnings they are banned. Then on the admin cp can you have a category where you can view people with 1 warnings, 2 warnings, 3 warnings. Edit/Delete Warnings. And so forth. Pretty sure this is gonna be a tough one.

Umm this would be a good idea.

I am interested, whoever I just want it to log the ++++ such as Mod Name, member name, time/date, and the post they were warned for (postid for linkage), and then a script to show the warnings. Only one warn per postid would be great too ;)

i have been deving it and its looking good so far... have to add a few more features but i wanted some input on how to have it show on the postbit template?

btw only the moderators... administrators and smods can view the view warnings and show warnings links and only the administrators can view the view logs link...

Why you dont use "Lesanes Awards and Cards - Hack?
With this Hack you can give Users virtual "Red and Yellow Cards" like on Football.
I installed this hack, and my Mods love it!! :D

Only Administrators :: Moderators :: S Moderators can view and give warnings... The Administrators are the only usergroup that can view the warning log...

Maximium Warnings before banning is configurable...

When user is warned they will be sent a pm regarding the warning...

thats how i see it right now... as for adjustments etc... i'd like commens :)

Yes, but "configurable" saves alot of time answering "how do I do it like this" or "how do I add it here" type questions in the thread. :) Can't wait to try it out. Looking forward to it. ;)

Also, it would be cool if everytime a mod warns someone, it sends a PM to the person with the reason and how many warnings they have left.

Here is one more feature I want in the warning logs (and show warnings) and that is a link to the exact post of the offence, whether manually typed or automatic by a link in the postbit ;)

any update on this? also why can't u make where it says "warning: 1 . why can't u make it show visible for everyone so the user will know how many warnings he have and everyone else will know also
