It would be great if the user can select to have daily or weekly digest of posts in the catogorie they like....
sent to them. So they would recieve the topic plus replies for ezch post as a seprate email or a one email,

That would be a nice feature, I have never used the digest feature on my forums, however if there was a weekly digest, i may use it.

As for the [request] thing, i really dont see why that bothers you people so much ;) learn to live with it, sheesh.

Just because a new hack hasn't been made and its just a request or this thread isn't valuble to you dosen't mean you should be bossey.

If this is how people are going to act then add a Hacks Suggestion/Feedback Forum to end this war.

I talked a little about something that you may like in the suggestions forum i think called forums v email discussion lists. Have a look there, that sort of idea may be something you want and James suggested he might look into it with John for a future release one day.

hehe.. of course. i don't hold grudges at all. I was not trying to sound angry.. aggh.. text can come across badly sometimes. Just another one of those eternal debates that people arn't going to agree on but easier just to accept the position (which the "authorities" have made clear) and be done with it.

So of course forgiven! you never did anything wrong really, just didn't want to start the same old thing up again :)
