Coming soon...Updated Clan Server Hack
 

I am working hard to get this to a beta test but wanted to show it first. If anyone has any suggestions before I finish this then fire away. This updated hack uses the vbulletin template system and there is now an admin piece that is integrated into the admincp (see pics below).

what game? any game? i wrote php code to query a HL server, its on my site for live stats for our game servers...its not quite tied in to vB though

Thanks...there is alot of work in this hack and it will be a part of my Clan CMS when it is complete. I have been slowly releasing some of these hacks that are included since the CMS won't be complete until after vb 3.0 comes out.

So will it be compatible with 2.2.x boards, or just 3.0?

It will be compatable with 2.2.x boards as I don't know what's in store for 3.0. I'm really stating that the CMS is taking longer than expected and won't be ready until vb3.0 comes out (I hope!). The Clan Server Hack will be out in the next week....

Here is the link for the front end of this hack, remember that this is not part of the template system yet so the completed product will look different.

Ok...It's almost complete. I would like 5 beta testers that can provide time to help test this. Requirements are that you have at least one game server committed to your clan and provide me the details like IP, port and that server is either a RTCW, UT, Quake3 or Jedi Knight II. Support for other servers will come soon.

I know someone on my board that's a hardcore SWAT3 player and part of a clan so he'll go nuts over this if I install this ;)

The rules could be an addon afterwards. I will email this to you once I get the last piece and the instructions complete.

This is only the RTCW one and I need to complete the player section, I am still working on the others. You will see the servers listed, maps they contain (well one has them as my server admin hasn't updated the list) and the server live view.

Lookin good, one thing I would recommend is when you view the live view, you see

I would set it so it changes your server title colors instead of showing the color codes themselves. Thats one thing I still needed to do in my Live Views, but havnt gotten around to it. At least for Q3 engine games.

I am working on that as soon as I finish the player piece...this hack is very large and growing as I add support for other games.

Ok...my first beta went out...Christy from http://www.force137.com/ is testing it out. The file is big (1.7mb)as I have included some map images as well. Right now RTCW is supported and the others will follow over the next few days....waiting on a few others to help test this but I need the info about your server.

UT and Jedi Knight 2 will be complete by the end of the day. I am also surprised with the small response to this as I have gotten alot of emails, icq's etc from people who want this hack. This is by far the biggest hack I have done to date for vbulletin.

Well, I didn't know it was a beta lol, I installed it... www.rec0n.com/forums/servers.php . You said something about config files, where do these go and do you have any examples? I'm assuming there to set up server info, eg. admin, IRC, etc etc. Well lemmie know whats going on aboot this...
