but we know it will show up in each post...

and i only want some specific forums show up another words

how to do can make that??

in requests forum it show==only for request posts

but in another forum it show==do not say dirty word

1- Put $squawell_var into your postbit template. (where you want your text)

2- Edit admin/functions.php find:

PHP Code:

    $post[message]=bbcodeparse($post[pagetext],$forum[forumid],$post[allowsmilie]);

Before that add:

PHP Code:

if ($forum[forumid]==X) {$squawell_var='only for request posts ';}
else {
$squawell_var='do not say dirty word';}

Dont forget to edit X with for forumid..

Enjoy..

I couldnt check your board (url was down) but I tested my code in my board and it works..

If you have only forumid 2 and 3, make sure you edited the text like:

PHP Code:

if ($forum[forumid]==3) {$squawell_var='only for request posts ';}
else {
$squawell_var='do not say dirty word';}

Cool...

Would this (below) give out nothing if that forum wasnt the specified one?? (I mean like : I want it to show in only one forum, and nothing to show anywhere else)

PHP Code:

if ($forum[forumid]==3) {$squawell_var='only for request posts ';}
else {
$squawell_var='';}
