YabbSE 1.3.0 --> vBulletin 2.2.6
Is there a YaBBSE Importer? Or can someone make one?
I'd really be very thankful if someone could make one. Thanks in advance. ;) |
There is currently no official YaBB importer, sorry.
|
unofficial?
|
No that I'm aware of.
|
Heck, even if the converter did users only, I'd still go for it. The only thing is that yabbse has encrypted passwords, so that could be a problem. :(
|
Yeah!
|
i would like to request an official or unofficial full yabb SE 1.3 converter. I would buy VBulletin in an INSTANT if this were available.
I would recommend it to other boards that iknow of using YabbSE as well. Thanks, michelle |
It's posible to convert a Yabbse forum... running this convertor set?
YaBBse -> phpBB2 -> Vbulletin  Somebody has tried to do it? |
we might be able to ditch the phpBB2. Is there a YaBBse to phpBB2 converter in the first place? If there is, I'll see if I can write up an unofficial import script.
|
Download the converter (Yabbse1.4 -> phpbb):
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/ashe/phpBB2/...t_yabbse14.zip Take a look at the thread: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic...ghlight=yabbse Yabbse to phpbb converter. |
It seems such a headache to install another forum script just to import YaBBse. Depends though on how dedicated you are :)
|
Yeah, but I have 30 thousand post in my Yabbse board...
|
perrera,
You have a few options here. 1) You could use the import method that you suggested. It should work though I'm not sure since I never have used YaBB. Be sure to backup your MySQL Database. 2) Waiting for a YaBB import script. It is only a matter of time before someone needs one 3) Last but not least, Try contacting vBulletin support at support@vbulletin.com They may or may not write up a script to help you import but they will definitely will try to help get your vBulletin up and running :) |
