Umm, what's a 'quick reply' with that one? The only 'timesaver' would be that you don't have to load the newreply page, but instead you do all the work everytime someone views the thread...

the pages load very quick on my pages and it is a quick reply, the only thing they have to put in is the message, the others are addons if they want to use them, they like it, it saves them loading the reply box reach time to reply, i had no bad remarks about it yet

this is anything but a quick reply. you have tons of code there and options... a quick reply should be a box where you type few words and press send, nothing much.
you basically moved your regular reply onto the showthread.

How can you get a quote in the quick reply? Is it possible?

There are instructions in the quick reply thread. Search the thread for smilies and find the earliest post.

To your showthread_replybox
and change the path of background-image:url(images/image1.jpg); to your custom BG
