What do you think about the World Cup? Which team is going to win it this time?
I support Turkey, but I know that they won't be able to win the cup. My favorite is Argentina.

I think Argentina will win it. But perhaps our german team will surprise myself *gg*

Well, Brazil was not that good in Turkey match. If there wasn't that wrong penalty, the match could have ended in a tie.

Argentina has a chance. Or Brazil (though they almost lost to Turkey). I was thinking Portugal, but they lost to the US. Italy has a chance too.

it was specifically started as "argentina vs england", a vital match in group F. why did you consider it as double post?

That match ruled, and so did england, what made it really good was seeing Beckham score against argentina, who England have been humiliated by for ages, like with the "hand of God" and beckhams sending off in France 98, it was great to see beckham put that all behind him and score

even if i holded for argentina, i must admit that the game was a total show comming from england. they played really well. i guess the 1998 game got burned into their memory and didnt wanted to hapen again the same story.

i prognose this group clasament:
1. england
2. argentina
3. sweden
4. nigeria

argentina will to their best to destroy sweden.

i started a thread with a very important game, argentina - england. england lost because argentina and got eliminated in 1998. so that's why you saw some wierd posts above.. in the thread i started, only me and mist participated. then it got moved here. :)

hehe it was fun, i was running between the pc and the tv to comment on the thread and mist was doing the same... :)

Finally, England beats Argentina after 36 years.

Japan did well against Russia - 1-0.

Italy is doing well, although the stupid linesman stuffed up 2 calls with their match against Croatia.

With Vieri, Italy is looking good to win.

Brazil isn't playing very well so far, neither is Argentina.

It's been a great World Cup so far - soccer is the best sport!!!

I dunno about Ronaldo... yeah, he's improving, but slowly, nothing compared to how he was in the last World Cup.

Nigeria and those African teams are famous for being the wildcard winners - look at Senegal beating France!!! :) Anything can happen.
