i did a search, noluck... and i dont want to use that one hack where someone has an invisable avatar

just create another usergroup and disable the feature :)

yeah, you assign them to the usergroup, and they loose the avatar

but that still defeats the purpose of doing it to one member and updating forum's usergrouo prems

There is a Hack that makes a User's Avatar inivisible to all the Members, except him and Mods/Admins...
