I don't want to add to many things, only those that are really neccesary and add convenience and functionality for my board and users.

it wasent a vB, but i had 106 under a ubb 6.05 once... Oo

106????? I think it was very funny to reinstall it, when new version was coming out :D

You had to have 106 hacks, UBB is so feature-less. It must've been fun to re-install all of these every 12 hours as new versions were released...

LOL yeah...I had a friend with a uBB and I had to help him install hacks and ohhhhhhhh boy, the time to install one hack for UBB is the time to install 20 for vB!

And you have to install avatars, custom titles, whos online, memberlist, calender, everything! :(

So I gave up and said to him: "get vB!"

I have 91 from this site (so far) but I also have at least 30 self-made ones - I haven't really kept a good count - as for upgrading, it's a headache, but a good file comparison program makes it easy.

According to the vBulletin Tally, 49...

But that doesnt accurately reflect the amount of hacks I have actually installed...

I would say somewhere around 60...

In some cases, I installed the hacks, and forgot to click "I Installed this Hack!", and then couldnt find the thread again...

i simply dident upgrade until we went vB once we where on 6.05 (very stable verson of ubb, all others above it where for new fetures, witch we had already hacked in, 6.1+) ;), it was killing the server. however the upgrades form 6.0,6.01,6.02,6.03,6.04 where and pain taking almost 4 hours each using beyound compare, and your right, alot of the stuff we hacked in is stock in vB :D, witch i like, but we are planing on hacking our vb as much as we hacked are ubb ;).

WOL and avatars are now stock in 6.3, however, thoese are only a few of the stock fetures under vB, they are planing to add more, witch is good, but the flat files hold back ubb.classic, and you have to let infopop serve you if you want the mySQL verson of ubb.classic (ubb.x) or pay a arm and a leg for ubb.theads witch is just a forum they bought so they dident have to write there own, makes me mad, and vB is still cheaper then flat file ubb.classic :tired:

I just ran a query to find out, and someone here has 171 hacks installed. His name stars with J. ;)

hmm, perhaps he just klicked on install when he downloads a hack...

i have more hacks on my local disk, which aren't included into my board, but perhaps i will in future?

neo: i think, this is a good idea for vb3, some sort of custom install, cause often i think it would be very overloaded.
my last board didn't has the calendar feature ^^

Potentially, anybody could have over that...

I think my tally is about 53 now, but I know I have at least a hundred stored on my hard drive...

i've just added about another 20, i have 57 on my harddrive, and i have added a few which i have not saved, i would say i have added about 70 now, lol nearly all my templates have been modified, only a few left to go

So that's 5 - I only add ones I really, really like so it's not too hard to upgrade. But I am a bit behind still in doing that. ;)
