Change look of code, PHP and quote boxes - problems

I installed this hack and it works fine, but I have a few things I want to see changed...

All my Code boxes have a extra empty line and can't seem to get ir removed. (look at example below, this board has the same problem, don't see any reason for this :

And my quote boxes have a different font then my code buttons, I tried changing (in the Admin CP Custom vB Codes) :

FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Arial;
into
FONT-FAMILY: Courier, Courier New, sans-serif;

But it's still not the same font :(

Any help with any of these matters appreciated !!! :)

Well I'm a rather inpatient person ;) But as you are quite good with code, and this bug actually is present on this board also, don't you know what causes it (even more as you actually written the hack in the first place)

hmmm you got a point, still I think it's strange that in the quote box it doesn't take the extra line but in the code box it does. I overlooked both codes but can't seem to find any difference that would cause it..... :(

aye but the <pre> has to be there otherwise it screws up stuff. So I just added 2 <pre> instaed of closing and it works. Extra line gone and everything works fine.

so my Problem ist the <br> tag, witch is automaticaly inserted.

I thing the removing of the <br> tag between the <pre> and </pre> would fix that.

Anybody have an idea how to remove it?
