v1.0 is up there for testing, had to prune some threads cause my conversion script somehow got messed up on ftp upload.

Anyways, it is converted now, and boats these new features:

-Speed improvments (means more hacking though)
-Modulare hack - about 70% of the hack code is in a file that is included() [not sure if this will make it, as it might slow down bigger sites]
-Fix for ';' causing wierd stuff - the delimiter I used was ';', that was changed
-Improved login checking - displays a login field if you vote without being logged in.
-bar graphs for results, fully customisable

Some features were cut due to time constraints. Probably, this hack will be used in the next vB version

Suggestion: Make it so that the poll icon is only used when a poll is posted. As of the last version...the poll icon appeared in the icon list for regular posts as well.

There is a bug in there. If you click on "new thread" in main page you get a poll w/ capability to create a message (no icons though).

When u go inside a thread and click "new thread", you get just a regular post.

Three feature requests:

1) let users click to open a new window with the html code for them to copy and paste into their own sites/pages so they can encourage voting from elsewhere as well. This is great for those sites that don't require registration in order to vote.

2) speaking of no registration required to vote. You should make this an option too, so admin can specify if anyone can vote, or only registered users can.

3) let users be able to reply with another poll.

normally, there should be a "post new poll" icon, but I was lazy.

currently you have to be a member to vote, as I use the vb Mermber DB

currently, only registered users. Changing that would complicate stuff, as I would need to store IP's and stuff.

this will be in the next version, but the architecture is there and it works, just need to change some code

As for helping, I first want to release this version so it can get into the main vB distro. The longer, multiple question-type idea is not a poll but rather a survey, which would require some recoding. You are free to hack on it asmuch as you want

small update - the poll icon will now not be shown when a person writes a new post, but will be shown only if a thread is a poll. For people who are not using icons, there is a new option to have a certian phrase be put in front of the subject.

Just have one more bug (editing a poll and adding new options sometimes causes problems) and it is ready to be released.

Actually I hope he releases the code seperate from the next release as well.

The code (v1.0.1) will be released hopefully by friday, I just need to stress test the conversion script.

Yeah, the bar graphics went through some changes, I fooled around with psp till I got something good.
