vBulletin bank hack
 
vbb had a store hack,so i think, it should need a bank hack ;)

BANK hack description:
Build a full function bank system of your forum( the full bank function includes?Gbank deposit?Awithdraw money?Ainterest?Ato transfer accounts)

1. Install_bank.php and Templates are wrote by root & mem
2. bank.php was wrote by jessie
3. translator: adersun

PS: this hack used database "money" after user , and it is doesn't increase "money" , so you must try something to get money :D

It works together with the point system hack, and since the store hack works on the point system hack, yes it will work together.

This is a great idea and i think my members could really use this but with some changes.

I would like to be able to state the starting balance and then be able to add transactions (so say remove $10 with a comment and the date).

ok, i got a idea here thats gold, well with the store hack, there is no the ability to mug users "pickpoket", well if the money is in the bank, theres nothing to steal, just like a real bank, but real banks have fees, so this one should too, a monthly fee, or maybe a weekly fee, something alot that line, and if the fee cant be paid they cant use the bank, just like a real one, (fee to be set by a admin or maybe based on how much is in the account, or how much activity)

because there should be reason to use the bank, and also reasons not to

i have had some time and i looked through your code.

well, i edited it it a bit and managed to reduce the size to about 30%. Most stuff was repetitive.

The only relevant reason I can see to using the bank is interest. But then again...its still very pointless, unless you had some sort of battle system were you could lose money not in the bank (by being attacked for example). Otherwise, members would just leave all their money in the bank, and when they wan't to buy something they withdraw it, but are gaining interest while their money is in the bank. If this is the case, why not just create a hack that increases a persons money depending on the amount they have, no point for a bank....right? ;)

well the whole point is eye candy and something else to play with :p

and there is a upgrade to the store hack that allows u to steal from other members and i think u get a fine if you fail, and that would be a big reason to use the bank, but a fee for using the bank is good so then thats a reason not to use it

umm it would be great to have a user battle system, cuz neo's battle system didn't work as I expected.. lol I mean it was an attack system not a battle system..

My only problem with these battlesystem's and itemshops is that if someone releases them on Vb.org, within a couple of weeks everybody has them. No originality at all. So I'm kinda glad to see some hacks, like the battlesystem, not being released on vb.org. What I wouldn't mind is the source code to be released though (php files), just the source, no templates at ALL..that way things would look more original and unique. Either way, I rather code them myself (when I get through reading Kevin Yanks stuff, I'll be king :D)

that's why they're there. You can easily customize the itemshop or the bank or whatever hack through the templates. How hard is it?

Does this require some sort of currency to work? If so, I have store hack installed which uses "storep" could I replace all instances of whatever in this hack to storep and it would work?
