Sub forums Moderator Colum

Any way i can get rid ov this?

Unknown553 04-21-2002 06:49 PM

Edit the forumdisplay_forumbit_level1_post template and remove:

Code:

<td bgcolor="{ firstaltcolor}"><smallfont>$forum[moderators]</smallfont></td>
And in the forumdisplay_forumbit_level2_post template, remove:

Code:

<td bgcolor="{ firstaltcolor}"><smallfont>$forum[moderators]</smallfont></td>

but i have the moderators dropdown menu on the maon forum page wont this delete them?

No, to remove it from the main page you would have to edit the forumhome templates, not the forumdisplay.

But to remove them from your sub-forums, follow the directions from my last post. It will not affect the moderator column on your forumhome.

Crazy Mofo 04-21-2002 10:50 PM

nah tha don't work still there

e.g if you have a forum and it has subforums its still displaying the Moderator on the bar where

Forum,Posts,Threads, Then Theres a moderator title i need too romove that as it has a big blac table backround when i do what you say :(

Crazy,

I had the same problem...

Had to look in the 'forumhome' template and find this:

Code:

<td bgcolor="#1D6AA0"><smallfont color="#EEEEFF"><b>Moderator</b></smallfont></td>
And delete it... that will get rid of the moderator heading over the black column and should align everything... ;-)

Crazy Mofo 04-23-2002 12:24 AM

thx for da info :D but what if you have the mod drop down?

Unknown553 04-23-2002 03:06 PM

It still wont show up, by deleting the column you're removing the visibility of the moderators, regardless of how it looks (standard links or in a drop down menu).

Is it the same path if we only want to remove that column in one forum full of subforums and not for the others?

Dean C 05-05-2002 09:18 AM

does any1 have this working???

Atian 05-10-2002 02:53 PM

dont you just remove the

Code:

<OPTION VALUE="#">moderators</OPTION>
<OPTION VALUE="#">---------------------</OPTION>
$forum[moderators]</select></td></form></tr>

and do the same with the resting templates?
