My Subscriptions aren't working anymore....
 

Hey all,

Am I the only one that is not getting the email messages for the threads I subscribed to? I checked my settings and they are all on yes and my email address is correct.

I miss my emails. :)

Still having this problem. Anyone?

I get some but not others. I have no idea why. Like you I have my email notifications settings set to 'yes'.

Looking into it... I think this might be a server problem because I also only get some of the notifications.

I had this problem on my board. We've reduced the error down to this - if a reply is submitted with the "Quick Reply Box" then it does not send an email. However if it's submitted with the "Post Reply" then it will email as normal.

I don't know if this is exaclty the cause, but it's what my little investigation has turned up.

Not to bother, but for my own curiosity - Firefly - has your results come up as the same as my guess, inconclusive, or is there a totally different reason?

My problem was not caused by the Quick Reply box. Everything was working fine one day, then the emails just stopped.

No rhyme or reason.

They are working again, so I must assume that it was something on VB.org's end.

Sometimes they dont want to do things, and no matter what you do to them, they will not behave...

I have found that if you ignore it enough, they will start to work again...
