How do you stop hackers from wrecking your board??

I've seen a lot of boards in the past get hacked ... from usernames to the whole board getting deleted ...

How do i stop this ever happening on my board??

you cant sorry.. but have directory protection on your admin stuff.... and once you get their ip, ip ban them

we do upgrade regularly ... but surely vb need to do something to make account more secure... perhaps an option in the admin cp for admins to have 2 passwords for extra protection ... if they wish that is ...

any more ideas?

You can do that yourself add a .htaccess file to your /admin directory, it will then ask you for a username and password before you get to the admin screen.
