Subscribe/Unsubscribe from Forum
 

Very small, simple hack: this will change the Subscribe to this Forum link on the forums page to Unsubscribe from this Forum if the user is already subscribed to it. Small change, but I like things polished and specific. :) I had to write this one up quickly for someone else, so I figured I might as well release it for anyone else who might like it.

Attached is an archive containing an installation text file, and a vBHacker file as well.

That's different: that's for threads. This is for forums. I installed the thread one for a client, and he wanted a forum one created alongside it to remain consistent and specific, so I threw it together in a few minutes, and here it is. :)

Hi TWTCommish... That's actually not true. The hack I created works for both threads and forums, despite the original title.

The title has now been changed. It is now the Thread & Forum Subscribe/Unsubscribe Link. Enjoy.

LOL. Okay, I get it now. Funny thing is when you posted it someone else had posted the thread version, too. Crazy, eh? :D

I added your subscribe and unsubscribe to forum part and it works great! Thanks! I already had Logician's Subscribe and Unsubscribe to thread hack installed so i just kept that one. :)

Working a charm on 2.2.6, though vBHacker wouldn't recognise the install file.
