Last time user visited forum
 

This will place the user's last visit time & date in the user's member profile. Only visible to mods, super mods & admins.

I want any user, even a guest, to view when the last time they were on the forums. I kind of know how but any further asstiance would be greatly appreaciated!

No problem. Just remove the if line and the } a few lines down.

is it possible to get the period online for each user using your hack?

Not that I can see. This hack just uses an existing column in the user table that is updated when a new page is loaded by the user.

i was thinking something like

Period online = last site visit - login time

There are a few problems that I see with this. The first is what about users that do not log out. I for one, never log out. The period online could be in the hundreds of hours. Second, I don't think there is a record for the login. I may be wrong, but I don't really know.

logout time can be the same as last site visit, and dont forget the timeout when users are inactive.

I don't see why not. I think the memberlist is pulling the data from the same table. I'll try it, but I won't make any gaurantees. Gonna depend on my free time this weekend. I hear my hardwood floors calling me to install them. :(

It works great on 2.2.9 so it should work fine on 2.2.8.

how would i put this into my postbit now? i would like this to display there... like user last on 4-20-03 12:00 PM, please help...

i tried adding this into my postbit... $userinfo[lastactivity] and it shows up like 105041920?? what am i doing wrong...

and i would like this to be visible to everyone.... not just mods and admins
