Are you sure that you put the exact code on index.php? In the forumhome check the name of the variable next to "Registered Today:" maybe you type it wrong... |
hey i have a suggestions to this great hack:
Make the number or new users today a javascript popup link to show who actually registered today, that would be cool. And also have the link to their profile pop up in a new window or something. I hope your not confused about what i'm saying! |

I have this idea in mind, give me time for the new version! Thanks! |
People, there is an update!!
Now you can click on the number of registered members and a list will pop up... Please download the new attach on the first post and make the changes, please read the instructions very carefully. Here is a DEMO: |
How do I upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1 ?
|
It?s very simple just replace:
On FORUMHOME template find: Code:
$numberregmembers Code:
<a href="javascript:whoregister()"><u>$numberregmembers</u></a> I?m updating the instructions... |
Updated!
Download the file again! |
psico, I like the modified version even better now. Your text file has an error though. It says (for upgrade)
Edit template FORUMHOME ----------------------- Find: $numberregmembers Below insert: <br> <a href="javascript:whoregister()"><u>$numberregmembers</u></a> It should have been REPLACE like your directions above instead. |
Updated!!
Thanks ptbyjason !! |

|

|
Hey.... howe i can do this:
New posts today: **** New threade today: **** Howe i can do this for my forum home page ? 10x a lot ... |
Nice hack.
One question, how do i prevent guests from being able to view the list. i.e when they click on the link they get the not logged in/register box. Thanks. |
I've just moved from a UK server to one in the US,and i have set my vB time to -5 hours to compensate for the GMT difference.
The clock shows the correct time for GMT,but the "Members registered today" is still behind. i.e it doesn't refresh at midnight GMT. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks. |
Thx
|
you forgot to include templatesused in this hack.
|
What are those last 2 replies all about.
|
Does the registered today count use the board time or the server time?
If it uses the server time,is it possible to edit the code so that it uses the board time instead.I have my board set to GMT. |
Can anyone help. Please.
|
I get this error message in the popup:
Quote:
regards, Schorsch |
sorry , but i have a blank page, what can I do?
