2.2.4 is already out

The changes from 2.2.2 to 2.2.3 then 2.2.4 were not really very major, just a few little bits of code. I should have taken the time to document them as I went through the files with Beyond Compare, but I was lazy and didn't.

File comparison tools are your friend.

I downloaded araxis Merge, I am working on trying that out.

I tried araxis merge, and screwed it up royally. Too many code modifications I do have :x

I hope he comes back and saves the day :(

araxis merge is the best tool in the world. use it. practice with the code. once you are comfortable with it, you will say thank you every minute you use it.

What is araxis merge for?

Araxis Merge and Beyond Compare are file comparison utilities. You can compare your hacked files to unhacked new files and move the hacked code over. I upgraded from 2.2.2 to 2.2.4 this morning. I moved over 60 hacks in less than 30 minutes. :cool:

Well for those of us that are far too busy to download (and wait for it as it takes forever on a slow 56k connection) and come to grips with a new program, let alone pay for one (with money that you don't have to spend!) that you're not going to use that often, I hope PPN or someone can create a list of changes needed to go from v2.2.2 to v2.2.4!

Ouch so thats how you do it!! I was actually trying to move code from the update to my current version lol... What is wrong with me today!?

It would be helpful to have a 2.2.2 to 2.2.4 hack.

Actually, I'm downloading Araxis Merge now... the demo version is fully-functional for 30 days... I'll let everyone know how it goes with it... if it's as good as everyone says it is, I'll buy it.

Araxis Merge is FANTASTIC. You can basically compare 3 different folders, see which files are different, in how many places, and automatically move different codes from one window to another, without needing to cut and paste or type anything.
