Shinra's Point System Addon

...Just wondering if anyone could make a hack that automatically adds points to the user when they start a new thread or reply to an old one, like the Karma hack.

There used to be a hack that did this, but it was removed.:(

Look at the existing karma hack here, you can find the code there - just change the reference to userprofilefield you added through the admin panel.

Yes, but wouldn't that install the whole Karma hack?

All I need is the one part, and I suck @ PHP, lol

WOW

Thanks!:)

(just a note, you may want to re-upload the file, as it is in MS Word format, and cannot be read by notepad.:))

Iguacu 03-10-2002 01:48 AM

i saved it as a txt file on a mac... what extension should i use?

eiSecure 03-10-2002 02:36 PM

Try saving it as a rtf file.:)

Also, is it possible to integrate your hack into FireFly's quick reply system?:)

Thanks,
Alex

eiSecure, please go to this page and enter your username, to show you are licensed. (you will need to use your customer number and password to access that page)
Thank you.

Yes, it is possible. But it is a bad idea. When I did this, the points raised everytime the page was viewed by the user :/ But maybe there is a way to block the point raise by pageview... (ok, I'm sure there is one, but I can't do it ^_-)

I'm having that same problem, after integrating it with the quick reply everytime somebody refreshes or views a page the points go up. Could somebody please create a better way of doing this?

edit: I just found the answer ;)
