well it's basically another users hack integrated. It wouldn't be a hack because if I was to take a hack from this board and just change the templates around a bit it wouldn't be a new hack.

it's a hack because there is (with the other hack) a good change of vb layout
so maybe without other hack there is no file to edit but the hack would be less interesting

Well, look at it this way, it is a good way to reduce load time because you get rid of some of the images that have to load over and over per post :).

Although I could not find a working version of the MP/HP/XP hack that would work with vB 2.2.2 (if anyone could let me onto one that does work, please either post here, pm, or e-mail me, I would like to get it working on 2.2.2).

i have a working version, modified to do the job in 2.2.2... pm me if you want it

I just installed the mp/hp/xp on 2.2.2, u have to add the code into admin/functions.php under // do ip addresses (around line 240) and then do the postbit modificication and voila :up:

the board is offline because i have 2 reinstall all those hacks and that takes alot of time :(

No, it was on FFL's ezboard and UBB before we even switched to vB. I can assure you this has been around quite a while. Heck, even before we had it on a threaded forum, it was used at MSN FF which I managed in 1998.

Anyway, it's a nice mod Vivi.. kinda reminds me of the AcmlmBoard EXP thing. We're reworking ours as well since upgrading.

i am confused with the thing on vbulliten.com to add a user name every time i add my user name it says not a valid user id.
