Well it's the 15th and time to nominate you favorite hack. This is the second month and I hope it goes as well as the first.

Here are some guidelines for the nominating.

1. This month only 5 nominees will be accepted.
2. You can nominate your own hack, but you must sit out a month before you can nominate it again.
3. If your hack wins it cannot be nominated again for a year. (Maybe we'll have a Hack of the Year!)
4. If somebody else nominates your hack the month after you nominated your own, the nomination will be accepted.
5.***Important!***Nominations will only be accepted for 5 days after the start of this thread. Deadline is 22:10Hours GMT on the 20th.
6. The criteria for judging a hack is solely left to the subjective perspective of each voter. So anything goes.
7. When you make a nomination please include the a link to the hack.
8. ***Important!***All nominations recieved within the 5 days will be thrown into a hat and 5 final nominees will be pulled. This selection will be 100% random!

I nominate the NNTP Gateway (Usenet/Newsgroups) hack - it's brand new and it's great! Okay, there are problems on some forums but Gilby is doing very much to help everyone - I like that :)

I second this nomination.

In fact, this hack is amazing as you don't even need to change a single file or template. I have installed a multitude of hacks into my board, and this is one of the best ones.

You just have to upload the files, and it runs by itself. :)

And the problems with this hack have nothing to do with the hack itself, but with certain nntp newservers which are troublesome to connect to.

Hello all,

I should have closed nominations after the 20th but since we're lacking a bit of enthusiasm I've decided to leave the nominations open until the end of the month. That should make the nominating a bit more interesting. There are also plenty of good hacks to choose from (like the vbcode improvement hack;)) so keep nominating. Sorry I had to plug my hack.:)
