I'm sure this must be out there somewhere but I'll be buggered if I can find it!!

I want to put a poll on my front page
eg http://www.unreal2center.net/bilder.php

which hack do I use for this please?

bobbydavro 01-09-2002 08:00 AM

is it a hack?

Admin 01-09-2002 08:35 AM

That's totally independent and has nothing to do with vBulletin... take a look at www.hotscripts.com and find a polling script. :)

Yes I know I can put another poll on the front page but is there not a hack to put a poll from within a VB post on the frontpage?

If there isn't there should be.

did you ever get a poll hack in a non-vb page?

SirSteve 02-19-2002 05:29 PM

I too would like this...

rishel 03-01-2002 10:54 PM

Actually, there are a lot of people that want that ability.

A poll on a non vb page, say your main or index page, that shows the poll from a vb board, and then shows the results if they vote, or shows them if they have already voted.

My friend and I both would like this hack for our boards, have been looking for it for about 2 months.

Does it exist?

kypdurron 03-02-2002 12:35 AM

Ok...I guess since no one else has help here...I will figure it out..
and then post it...give me two weeks since I have a lot of client work coming up...

rishel 03-02-2002 01:05 AM

Awesome!!!

SirSteve 03-02-2002 02:45 AM

can't wait!

If you guys don't care if it's in the forum or not you can try out the one I am using. You can see it in action on our front page: http://www.TheForumz.com

To download it go to: http://www.cgi-world.com/pollit.html

It's very easy, even I didn't need help with it. Very basic and very customizable, as you can see if you look at the version running on my site.

Hope this helps a few people.
