I am just wondering when my IP will charge me more because of exceeding my 25 MB limit. So here's my question to you....
|
More than 20MB here.. :o
|
without Search-Index we have about 23Megs... with Search Index about 90!
|
With attachments my db was almost 80mb, now i deleted it and my db is now 42mb.
|
I think mine's about 30MB now

How does one find this information out?

Option 2: Backup your DB through your admin CP and take a look at the file size |

This is not correct, the dump will be much bigger than what you see in phpMyAdmin as there is much more text (INSERT INTO etc.) in the dump ;)
phpMyAdmin says 35 megs for my database. |
Over 300 Megabytes and only 9 gigabytes left on the database partition.
|
21 meg here
|
53 MB.
|
100mb here thru a vb backup.
|
Only 3.85mb :)
I am just wondering, but if you all were to backup your database, it would take a very long time! Especially those who have over 100mb, especially with a 56k connection; :ermm: |
117MB At the moment, Been using VBulletin since Feb. 13'th 2002 :D
|
I db is 9.50MB :alien:

My DB now is about 70MB...so i'm ok for now, in fact i'll be ok forever lol. |
Mines about 29MB thru a CP backup... But we restarted about the middle of summer due to a server crash...
How the heck do you guys have a 1GB+ database? how big is your forum!?? |
Forums which have over a 1GB database normally have millions of posts and haven't reindexed their search index for a while, the search index is the biggest part of the database along with the posts...

143mb and growing.. 55 gigs+ left.. :)
|
4.5 or so Mb:)
Satan |
My database is more than 25mb now

Mines rocketed up due to adding 496 attachments for my gallery, thats added about 20MB to my DB
|
Wow...
You should install PPN's attachments as files hack;) Satan |
I prefer to have them all in the DB, otherwise I would have 496 full images and 496 thumbnails + all my other attachments floating around, way to confusing and messy IMO, much easier to restrict when they are in the DB too.
