Mit diesem Hack könnt ihr ein Board mit einem Passwortschutz versehen.
Das Passwort wird im Adminbereich unter:

Forums and Moderators
--> modify
---> das board wählen

eingegeben.

Dieser Hack ist erst einmal eine BETA. In der Endversion soll auch den Zugriff auf die geschützten Boards selbst wieder (als normaler member) aufheben können.

Gefixed zur letzten Version:

- keine Anzeige mehr von Beiträgen aus passwortgeschützten Boards in der Suchfunktion.
- Schutz jetzt auch beim erstelen neuer Beiträge.

Es gab noch einen kleinen Bug ?ber das Profil eines Users konnte man den Titel des Postings im gesch?tzten Board sehen.

aktuelle Version vom Hack ist jetzt 1.0 (also nicht mehr BETA)

wenn ihr den hack noch nicht installiert habt dann ladet den hack in diesem Posting runter ansonsten macht folgende Erg?nzung um upzudaten:

member.php runterladen und sichern

diesen Code suchen:

ersetzen durch:

meine Gebete sind erh?rt worden.. das Wasser wurde zu Wein und der Hack wurde aus Englisch einfach Deutsch... :D

Even though the zip for this hack seems to have been updated to recognise version 2.2.2, I've upgraded, re-hacked, but it seems to offer no protection, and generate some pages with no message. Any ideas?

Did you installed the hack in version 2.2.1 ? than the nessessary entrys in the database are still available and all users which had access in 2.2.1 have also access in 2.2.2
to dissable this enter 0 in the password field to delete the accesstable for the board and insert an new password (or the same)

I hope you understand my terrible English.
there is no update for 2.2.2 available because I dont use this version and wait for version 3 (hope vb included my hack in version 3)

Thanks for your help. I've gone through the intructions again, here's some more detailed information about what is wrong.

I originally installed it on version 2.2.1, and it worked perfectly.
I upgraded to 2.2.2 and re-hacked, but now get problems.
Here is a link to my forumdisplay.php; maybe by looking you might know whats wrong?
My showthread.php just acts as normal.
The admin forum.php and search.php seem to be hacked correctly.

OK you ask in the german version of this hack but your board is in english so I had to made to files to fix your problem. The problem is the missing templates for the error-message, download the attachment und upload temp-german.php (for german error-message) or temp-english.php to yout adminfolder and open it in your browser, thats all.

Afterburner, I am having troubles yet again. When I try to view the forum or a thread inside all I get is a line where the password box should be. I can't remember how I fixed it last time I upgraded my board. :(

you have to insert the template for the messages, look in this thread there is an php file for this, or it was in the english version of this hack. (> PasswortHack for v2.2.1 English)

Wenn ich meine Cookies lösh, komm ich wieder, ohne ein neues Passwort einzugeben, in das unterforum .

Ich habs schon versucht mit einem Passwortwechsel, hat aber auch nichts gebracht...

das geht leider nur wenn du es allen wegnimmt, beim passwort 0 (null nicht O) eintragen und beim nächsten mal ein anderes passwort, wie gesagt dann müssen aber alle das neue passwort eingeben
