unfortunately, that did not the trick.
I installed the new one, and same problem still excist

mp3president 12-29-2020 05:29 AM

To be clear, installed it, but made not a single adjustment yet in the settings.
So it is installed as you uploaded it.

yilmaz 12-29-2020 06:13 AM

I installed it in another forum with version 5.4.5, it worked fine.
Settings will be made from admincp.

Such a shame. Tried it for another couple of time, but it does not work with me.
Every time i put the module at his place and save the page, it goes wrong.

When i disable the module everything is working again.

I think there is a conflict with another plugin

Edit : delicjous posted also a module like this one just now. Tried that one and it works perfect.

Thank you Yilmaz for looking, glad it works for everyone else.
Don't know what the problem with Vbulletin was, however it is now solved a different way.

Thx again for your responses ;)

Thanks.

This does not work, and I will tell you more - I tried to install a couple of yilmaz products, and all of them are broken, despite the fact that the requirements for the software environment are fully consistent with those recommended by the vBulletin developers.

It's just shit code. Shame on you.

That's very harsh. Yilmaz has made several good mods, many of which I am using without problems. Some have issues, but he has been helpful trying to fix those. He's one of the top contributors to this forum. Are you?

I readily believe that he is a very nice and responsive person, but ready-made software products do not exist in order to contact technical support immediately after installation. They must somehow, but work. And so it turns out that you find a plug-in, assess its compliance with your task, lay a minimum of time for its integration and then it turns out that in time for launching this miracle you need to spend a little less time than writing from scratch. This is the same as giving away ice cream for free, which will cause indigestion. Cruel, but fair.

Then find another coder who develops products for free. Since yesterday I have installed 4 of its products and they all work on 5.6.4 PL1.

Maybe the problem is you !!

@Yilmaz bring vbulletin5 alive again with many useful mods and all mods are free. You should be thankful for his work and mods with some problem always can be supported - just clik installed!

Have many of his mods and almost all works perfect on vb 5.6.4!

konstantin_s 05-07-2021 05:20 AM

Well, enjoy your great support and spend time mailing out when your projects crash after a little server upgrade because you don't know where the bugs live in these awesome plugins and you don't even want to know. The main thing is that everything is nicely and free.

Leon Martinez 07-13-2022 08:54 PM

When will we see a version for the current upgraded side.

Like 5.6.9 for instance.
