I've modified the original [hide] hack incl Like "addon" to make it compatible with vb5. On my forum, everything seems to work.

Upload the content of 'Yilmaz - [hide] Hack incl post Like' directory to your root.

In version 1.6.0, I added a new option Replying and liking the topic will reveal hidden content.

In Version 1.6.1, the "Likes Summary" was removed as the Likes Digest was not working properly in the page gateway.
I completely rewrote a separate plugin that works fine under the name "Post Likes Detail"..

How to uninstall:

1. Remove the package "yilmazhidelikehack" that located in /core/packages/
2. Go to "Manage Products" in the admincp and delete the product named "Yilmaz - [hide] Hack incl post Like"

How to update:
========================================
After uploading files
-Import XML file (as product) through AdminCP: Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
OR import the XML file from your server
Please Mark as Installed if you use this. :)

@Yilmaz I need this mod but in a different way. I want to hide a some text from Users and Guest but allow Admins and chosen user groups to view it. Only specific user groups can view text?

Is that possible with out much trouble? I understand that is a different Mod.

You want to show the text between bbcode [hide] to user groups you want.

I think there is a CSS code crashing with on of the addons.

Found out that the Dark vB theme/style is the guilty one.

Just as I express myself well because I use google translator. I mean that the option to use hide content is only available for certain groups of users that the administrator chooses. Currently all users can use this BBCODE

If someone unlikes then the hidden texts goes hidden again, right? Is there a way to either not hide it again or to know if a particular user unliked it? I am just looking for a way to keep track of the like/unlike.

Hide Button ( Key ) are not in Editor Tools?

Go to BB Code Manager, click edit any bb code, save without modification, hide button will appear in editor.

I deleted temporary files in my browsers and forum cache and I don't know how but now it's working fine

In vBulletin 5.6.x, we could only see the hidden content after a post-click refresh.

I will be happy to present this plugin, which I have completely programmed from the beginning, with version 1.6.2 as ajax function soon.
